Google Chrome netbooks will be making their debut by the end of this year. These netbooks will be running Consumer Version of Chromium OS. In the year 2011, there will be another version that will be making its way to the Chrome OS world – Chrome OS Business version. According to the security engineers at Google, this version is stated to have "more management muscle".
Also, the Chromium netbooks will have a hardware-switch beneath the battery that would trigger "developer mode". When running in this mode, some special security functions will be turned-off that would allow the developer to play with the Chromium’s code.
