Sony is yet to jump onto the Chromium netbook bandwagon officially, but the recent FCC leak suggest that the Japanese giant is working on a Chomebook called Vaio C111 VC. Judging by the pictures, it appears to have a 11.6 inch display, a very comfortable keyboard with a spacious touchpad.
Other specs include an 16GB solid state drive, HDMI port, headphone, earphone jacks, power port, 2x USB 2.0 ports, Kensington lock and SD card reader. Its battery is removable and has a capacity of 4100mAh, which is good enough to make a light operating system like Chromium OS run for hours.
On the connectivity side, you will find built in 3G modem, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radio. Interestingly, it is not powered by an Atom or a Core i series processor like recently released Samsung Series 5 chromebook powered by Celeron processor. Instead, Sony has gone with the Nvidia Tegra 250 processor that runs at 1.2GHz clocks peed.
