Lenovo N21 is a Chromium netbook to make its debut in the US market. This new chromebook packs the new Intel Celeron N2840 bay trail processor, 11.6 inch display with optional touchscreen panel. Other Lenovo N21 specifications include 2GB to 4GB of RAM, features 16GB of solid state storage, and has a 1MP rotatable camera which acts as both front and back camera.
Lenovo claims it features a water resistant and drop resistant design that can withstand a fall from up to 2.3 feet. Battery life should be pretty good considering the fact you get a beefy 36 Wh battery in it. School IT departments can easily replace it at home. Port and communication selection include a USB 3.0 port and a USB 2.0 port, HDMI output, an SD card reader, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and TPM security.
The Bay trail Intel Celeron N2840 processor runs very quick and is more than enough to run a lite operating system like Chromium. The CPU is more powerful than the one that made its debut in the Dell Chromebook 11 which was also meant for school usage.
Lenovo will selling the N21 by the end of March in US. You will be able to get one for about 220 dollars in US or $259 in Canada.
