Acer has reduced the price of its Chromium netbook, AC700. Earlier, it was being retailed for 350 dollars, but now the company is selling it for just 300 dollars on sites like Amazon. For those who do not know, AC700 is one of the first Chromebooks and it ships with Google Chromium operating system instead of windows 7 starter that is widely used in Atom powered netbooks.
It comes with 16GB flash storage and is ideal for those who spend most of the time online. It offers seamless integration of Google apps like Gmail and Google docs. You can also cache the data for offline access. Music and pictures can also be read, thanks to the SD card slot present on the netbook.
Specs of Acer Ac700 include 11.6 inch display, 1366 x 768 pixel screen, Intel Atom N570 1.66GHz processor, 16GB SSD and 2GB DDR3 RAM.
